It looks like the Samsung Stratosphere 3 is already in testing, as evidenced by a new GLBenchmark listing that references a phone under the name “Godiva” with a model number of SCH-i425.

So what do we know about the phone so far? It seems to have a 1280×720 display and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. There is Verizon branding all over the software build and so it seems like this could in fact be the third Stratosphere.

The first was called the i405 and the Stratosphere 2 was the i415, so this certainly falls in line. The only strange thing about all of this is that the Stratosphere 2 just arrived in November, so this is a pretty quick turn around for another member of the Strat line-up.

With dual-core specs and a 720p resolution, this sounds like a solid mid-range device and if it continues the tradition of having a built-in keyboard it could be one of the most powerful sliders around.

When it comes to the world of Bluetooth headsets, Motorolas are among some of the best. Two such headsets are now on sale, giving you a great price on your choice of the Motorola Oasis or the Motorola H17txt.

Normally selling for $79.99, the Motorola Oasis is on sale for $44.86. This uniquely shaped Bluetooth headset has an extended boom with dual microphones, which is meant to provide better noice cancellation. There are audible prompts for when you are connected, as well as to tell you the phone is ringing and to provide you with the current battery level. Interestingly, it’s also possible to connect to two different phones at the same time, which is great for people who have both a business and a personal phone.

While the LG Nexus 4 and LG Optimus G are very similar, they have one major difference: stock Jelly Bean versus LG-skinned ICS. Not everyone cares about having a the latest (stock) version of Jelly Bean, but if you do, this is certainly a pretty big difference.

Although LG’s Optimus G will always have LG skins, it might not have to deal with Ice Cream Sandwich much longer. South Korea is already seeing an update to Jelly Bean, and hopefully that means that Europe and the United States are too terribly far behind.

The update to South Korea is arriving right now both in OTA and over-the-wire methods for those with “LG-F180S” on SK Telecom. The update brings the phone up to Android 4.1. This isn’t as up-to-date as the Nexus 4′s 4.2 Jelly Bean, but it is certainly better than nothing.

For now, there is no word on when the US and Europe will see Jelly Bean arrive to the LG Optimus G, but don’t worry, it will make its way over sooner or later.

According to LG, all the talk about the company discontinuing production of the Nexus 4 in favor of future handsets is just that: talk.

LG says that their LG Nexus 4 production isn’t being halted and that they don’t have any plans to stop supporting the Nexus 4. In fact, LG now has piped up and saying that the shortage with the Nexus 4 is nobody’s fault, and demand has simply been very high.

This is in sharp contrast to prior word from Google that seemed to suggest that LG Nexus 4 supply had been both scarce and erratic.

The truth is probably that while having a relationship with Google via the Nexus 4 is important for LG, there is probably more money to be made for them when selling their Optimus G instead. For that reason, Optimus G stock probably has been prioritized above producing the Nexus 4.

Although getting your hands on the Nexus 4 remains a difficult task, the good news is that it doesn’t seem like the Nexus 4 is being abandoned at this point, either.
